The October meeting of Axstane Preceptory of St. John Jerusalem

On the 24th of October 2023 at Axstane Preceptory of St. John Jerusalem at Wrotham Masonic Hall. With over thirty Knights in attendance E.Kt. Robert F. Blair sincerely installed E.Kt. Stephen Mark Littler into the chair.

The Inner working colloquy was delivered by E.Kt. Stuart Gray perfectly and the whole ceremony was expertly conducted by the new joining member E.Kt. Kevin Russell.

A enjoyable meeting was had by all including the Representative of the Provincial Prior E.Kt. Neil Pinner who congratulated the Eminent Preceptor for reaching the chair and the warm welcome he received from the brother Knights of the Preceptory.

The acting Chaplain was a guest of the Eminent Preceptor E.Kt. Steve Hyland who gave an excellent account of himself as the chaplain. The Provincial Sub Prior E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge and the Provincial Vice-Chancellor E.Kt. Dennis Dean both personal guests of the Eminent Preceptor took the constables chairs during the inner workings.

Along with E.K. Russell, the Preceptory also welcomed back Knight Templar Kt. Paul Lincoln as a joining member. The Refectory afterwards proved a feast of very generous proportions and all went home very satisfied with the evening events.
