Kent Knights go on a Pilgrimage to Malta

On Friday 4th of October 2024 V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean and E.Kt. Stephen Hyland visited the sunny island of Malta after five years since their last visit to the Masonic Hall, Marsamxett Street, Valletta.

They first visited La Valetta Preceptory No. 649 and enjoyed the ceremony of installing two pilgrims into the order, joining them were the Provincial Prior of Somerset R.E.Kt. Paul Davies and Provincial Prior for Herefordshire and Gloucestershire R.E.Kt. Peter Burrows both with members of their bodyguard.

The Deputy Commander of the Grand Masters Bodyguard E.Kt. Rolland Rogers was there as the Provincial Marshal for the Province of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire and escorting his Provincial Prior. On the Saturday 5th of October V.E.Kt. Dennis Dean and E.Kt. Stephen hyland visited Waller Rodwell Wright Preceptory No.640 and another two pilgrims were installed into the order. Afterwards they installed into the chair Kt. David Whale as the new Preceptor.

There was another Kent Knight present at the meeting who is a serving member of Waller Rodwell Wright Preceptory Kt. Alan Dobson also a member of the Preceptory of the Holy Trinity No.391 in Kent.
