The Provincial Church Service

The Provincial Prior R.E.Kt. David Jordan K.C.T. and his Active Provincial Officers were paraded into the Provincial Church Service by the Provincial Prior’s Bodyguard at St. James the Great, Church, East Malling on the 8th of December 2024.

St. James The Great Church

Everyone was warmly welcomed by Rev. Amanda Clamplin to her Church. The Congregation was greeted musically to the St. James the Great by the Church bells rung by Kt. Michael Birkbeck and the Churches bell ringers. The Church Choir and the resident Organist lead the Christmas Carols that was heartily sung, by over 120 Knights and their friends and families.

The Service was well conducted by the Provincial Prelate E.Kt. Rev. Leslie Fraser and the Prayers were read by the Provincial Almoner E.Kt. Bret Portman. During the Service the Provincial Prior and Sub Prior read the Bible readings.

The Provincial Sub Prior

At the completion of the Service the Provincial Prior and the Rev. Amanda Clamplin were paraded out together under an arch of Steel to start. A scrumptious finger buffet followed, which was enjoyed by everyone there.

The collection raised a fantastic £302 for the benefit of the Church.
