The meeting was presided over by R.E.Kt. Roger Smith who welcomed a large number of Kentish Knights including R.E.Kt. Jordan E.Kt. Swinge, V.E.Kt. Dean, V.E.Kt. McCully, E.Kt. Gane, E.Kt. Martin, E.Kt. Cantlon E.Kt. Senior and E.Kt. Littler, who all enjoyed a very good and satisfying refectory.

During the Proceedings the Essex Bodyguard preformed an excellent silent demonstration of the sword drill. The Provincial Prior launched an appeal for their centenary in the year 2030 to give a substantial sum for the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital. A large number of Precpetories and members received a certificate for their contributions to the appeal.
