Two Meetings And A Tour Of GuernseyOn the 14th of October 2025 five Knights from Kent including V.E.Kt. Dean, E.Kt. Littler, E.Kt. Playford, E.Kt. Cantlon and E.Kt. Hamilton went on tour to the Island of Guernsey flying from Gatwick on Aurigny Airlines it took only 35 minutes in a propeller airplane to land in the beautiful Channel Islands where the group were taying for three nights in the Les Cotils hotel St. Peters Port.
St. Peter Port, GuernseyThe next day the Touring Knights went on a bus tour of the Island to see the magnificent beaches and Fortifications constructed for the defense of the Islands. After a lunch in one of the many Pubs the party climbed the Victoria tower to view over the port of St. Peters and see the Island of Herm. In the evening they visited Loyalty Lodge No.1810 in St. Martins Masonic Hall and enjoyed a splendid Second Degree ceremony and an excellent festive board.
The next morning the party visited Guernsey’s brilliant historical German occupation Museum where they were very impressed with the extensive display of German weapons and artifacts left by the Nazi invaders. That evening the Knights visited St. George Guernsey Preceptory No. 491 in the same Masonic Hall, E.Kt. Falla installed his successor E.Kt. Robert into the Chair in an sincere manner. A ceremonial sword was presented to the Eminent Preceptor with both the Insignia of Jersey and Guernsey on the cross bar to link both Preceptories and Islands.
V.E.Kt. Dean was invited to present a long version of both a Temple and Malta certificate to Kt. Vaudin that was received very well by the Guernsey Knights. The visiting Knights very much enjoyed the meeting and especially the refectory afterwards when the Kent Knights presented to the Eminent Preceptor a Knight Templar statute to mark their visit.
