Squiggle Heralds Of Kent Team Visit St George Bahrain Chapter No.7389

On Saturday 22nd November 2025 a small cohort of five Knights called in on St George Bahrain Chapter No.7389 at the Masonic Hall in Ashford. Their true purpose was to introduce our Order to the Companions, to entertain them with a display of sword drill and to deliver the Lord Harris Lecture. The reason that they assigned to this friendly visit was that they were tired and fatigued and sought refuge in order to rest and to later break bread with the Companions.

Entering the Temple led by E.Kt Robyn Murdo-Smith the cohort split into two and proceeded towards their Excellencies and taking post with Robyn just forward of the banners with one Kt at each corner. The cohort saluted their excellencies as Knights first as Companions.

Fortunately E.Comp Richard McAllister 1st Principal welcomed them into the Temple to rest and invited them to the festive board afterwards but only after they had given an explanation of their Order.

The cohort presented a colourful assembly, three were wearing KT regalia (E.Kts Hiscock, Campkin and Murdo-Smith), one in Malta Regalia (E.Kt Rexie Hermano) and another James Gorham a visitor in Scottish KT Regalia. After a brief summary of the Priory of Kent by Robyn, David led the Cohort in a display of sword drill. Robyn then delivered the Lord Harris Lecture in lieiu of Kt Brian Cooper who developed the lecture but who was regrettably on sick leave. David then delivered a fascinating talk about the various designs of KT certificates over the years.
