The December Meeting Of Thanet Priory No.401

At Thanet Priory No.401 on the 4th of December 2025 in Margate Masonic hall they held a Malta meeting and the Eminent Prior E.Kt. Michael Salter welcomed the Provincial Sub Prior E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge into the Priory.

Banner Guard

The Eminent Prior then went on and installed two knights into the Order of the Knights of Malta, namely Kt. Iain Smith and Kt. Darren Hemsley. The banners were manned by the Provincial Prior’s bodyguard and the banners lecture was performed very well by E.Kt. Richard Woodgate. The rest of the lectures were performed by E.Kt. Andy Dive.

The Provincial Sub Prior gave a very good explanation of a Great Priory certificate which was presented to Kt. Iain Smith. The knights then retired to an excellent refectory.
