The Provincial Priory of Kent Christmas Family Church Service

On Sunday 14th of December 2025 at St. James the Great Church, East Malling, Kent, The Rev Mandy welcomed the Provincial Priory of Kent knights and their families to the Christmas Family Church Service.

The Provincial Marshal E.Kt. Kelvin Gane paraded in the Choir and the Rev Mandy followed by the Malta Delegation then the Provincial Active officers under the arch of steel formed by the Provincial Prior’s bodyguard.

The Provincial Prior R,E.Kt. David Jordan K.C.T. thanked Rev Mandy for allowing the Province to worship in this lovely old East Malling Church this Christmas time. The Provincial Prelate E.Kt. Les Fraser then open the Church Service by calling the congregation to stand and sing a number of Christmas carols and the Provincial Sub Prior and Provincial Prior read aloud the scripture readings. The Provincial Almoner gave the prayers and the Provincial Prelate finished the Service with a sermon on the advent theme and a collection for the benefit of the Church raised a generous £324.

After the recession out the assemble Knights and their families then retired to a splendid buffet tea of sandwiches and cakes.
