The Provincial Prior’s Bodyguard MessOn the 19th of February 2026 at the Honorable Artillery Company (HAC) in London the E.Kt. Mark Wright a member of the HAC welcomed the Provincial Prior’s Bodyguard to the headquarters of the ancient and still active Honorable Artillery Company.
The amassed Bodyguard members meet on the sensational main staircase of a group photo and then departed for a tour of the building starting with the captain General’s coat of arms starting with King Henry the Eighth and ending with the present King Charles the third.
The party left the main entrance and entered the impressive Museum with displays of the uniforms and arms of the HAC over the ages, concluding with the spectacular silver room with its display of silver plate and Trophies. Onto the medal room and the cabinets full of service medals from passed campaigns including Victoria crosses. Next on to a well earned drink in the sulting room followed by a three course lunch in the long room.
After an satisfying lunch next to take port in the Drum room to finish this is a lounge designed for entertaining the Ladies. However E.Kt. Mark Wright had a surprise up his red tunic and dressed up both V.E.Kt. Dean and E.Kt. Littler in full Pike man armour to the humor of the members of the bodyguard and then went through pikeman drill with then trying to copy.
E.Kt. Littler the bodyguard Commander thanked E.Kt. Wright for a lovely and well presented time at the HAC.
