Announcement of a New Sub Prior

I announce the forthcoming change to the Knight Templar Executive, which will become effective from the 9th of May 2026, E.Kt. Pieter Jan Swinge Past Great Herald.

Having served the Province for six years as Provincial Sub Prior and two years as Provincial Vice-Chancellor, Pieter will be retiring from the role on the 8th of May 2026. He has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position and I wish to personally thank him for his advice and support during his service.

I am very pleased to announce that Very Eminent Knight Dennis Dean Past Great Registrar to be Promoted to the rank of Provincial Sub Prior and I look forward to investing him on the 9th of May 2026 at the Kent Bodyguard Preceptory No.552. Gillingham Masonic Centre, Franklin Rooms, Franklin Road, Gillingham. Kent ME7 4DG.

Dennis is very well known throughout the Province having held the offices of Registrar, Deputy and Commander of my Bodyguard as well as the office of Provincial Vice-Chancellor for the last six years.

I am very pleased to announce that E.Kt. Stephen Mark Littler Past Provincial Chamblain will be promoted to the office of Provincial Vice-Chancellor also on the 9th of May 2026. I know that you will join me in offering our best wishes to Pieter for the future and to a very long and happy retirement.
