Squiggle A Trio of Knights Visit The Rock Of Gibraltar

A trio of Kent Knights set off from Heathrow to land on one of the most dangerous airstrips in the world on 28th of February 2026. V.E.Kt. Dean, E.Kt. Littler and E.Kt. Cantlon landed in one piece and entered the beautiful peninsular of British overseas territory of Gibraltar.

They stayed in Euro City tower on the 15th floor with fantastic views of the Rock of Gibraltar from their balcony. After an excellent breakfast at the Lord Nelson pub watching the Local mass band of the Corps of Drums of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and Scottish Friends they wander down the high street taking in all the sights.

The next day the Knights visited the Gibraltar World War II tunnels which were first started in late 18th Century by the British Army to defend the Rock from the nearby Spanish. During the next 200 years to defend shipping through the Striates of Gibraltar.

The following day the Knights visited Calpe Preceptory No.60 being the old name for the rock of Gibraltar. They were very warmly welcomed by the members of the Preceptory and witnessed an installation of Kt. F.Cruz, the ceremony were carried out by the Eminent Preceptor and the charge and symbols were presented by E.Kt. Bensusan.

Afterwards at the Refectory V.E.Kt. Dean responded on behalf of the visitors and presented a kneeing Knight statue offering a firing sword. The Eminent Preceptor and members of Calpe Preceptory were over whelmed and thanked the visitors for the gift.
