The Consecration Of Temple Belwood Preceptory No.732The Provincial Prior of Lincolnshire R.E.Kt. Martin Frank Hemsley Lewick consecrated Temple Belwood Preceptory No.732 in the Chapter house of Lincoln Cathedral on the 14th of April 2026.
There were approximately one hundred and twenty five knights including twenty nine founders and five visiting Provincial Priors. Everyone was seated in the circular chapter house with the Provincial Prior conducting the consecration with his Provincial officers. One of the Founders had to create a smaller Sepulchre because of the large central pillar, to allow room for the ceremony to be conducted around the Sepulchre.
Once Consecrated the Provincial Sub Prior V.E.Kt. Derek Perkins installed E.Kt. Nicholas Probert as Primus Preceptor and he then appointed the Preceptory officers. The Provincial Prior then surprised the Primus Preceptor by giving him a field promotion to Past 1st Constable for his work and vision in creating this new Preceptory.
There were a number of Knights from Kent V.E.Kt Dean, E.Kt. Wright and E.Kt. Johnson in attendance, who joined all the brother knights in retiring to the Bentley Hotel for the refectory.
